Math is the study of quantity, structure, space and change. Everything around you is connected in some way to math because numbers are everywhere. You need to know math to shop, compare prices, pay bills, count, manage money, be on time, cook, determine amounts, measure, weigh, keep score in sports and games, use technology, determine travel distances, and much more. Math is useful, logical, and creative.
